Insurance Sales Executive
Location: Beverley
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm (Hybrid subject to probationary period)
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Executive to join our client’s dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building, and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales revenue for our clients’ services and products. This role requires a results-driven individual with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prospecting activities: pro-actively prospect and build relationships with corporate commercial clients in line with our acceptance criteria to develop a sales pipeline of quality prospects sufficient to achieve new business targets across all income streams.
- Delivery of new business: review and identify the commercial and personal insurance needs of prospects and advise on insurance products, seeking opportunities to differentiate our clients offering to add value and win sustainable new business
- Introduce the full range products, including Financial Services, Risks Management, and our full range of General Insurance products
- Transact business compliantly within FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) requirements and always with a ‘customer-centric’ approach
- Work effectively within a team; handing over new clients to a truly customer focused team of Service, Claims and the Account Management team
- Develop knowledge and expertise; utilise the extensive training, support, and resources within the agency
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of commercial insurance sectors is essential
- Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance
- Analytical skills and an ability to interpret information and understand its significance is essential
- A person with a proven record selling insurance products against defined targets
- An enthusiasm for insurance with real drive, energy, and enthusiasm, providing the best experience for our customer classification
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, & relationship building abilities
- Pro-activity and the ability to work independently to develop a pipeline of prospects and drive your own sales performance
- Strong I.T. literacy
- Full driving license and access to your own car for client visits
