Location: Howden

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 5 Days over 7 (flexible start and finish times)

We are recruiting for a Production Manager to join our client’s team in Howden. This is an excellent opportunity to join a family-owned business with excellent progression opportunities.

You will be reporting to the operations director, ideally you will have experience from a fresh food or agricultural background.

Main Duties:

• Asses the crop daily and ensure the correct manning and plans are in place.
• Attend daily ops meetings
• Ensure all products meet the quantity and quality targets
• Checking recommended wights and sizing guidelines
• Making sure all customer orders are met to tight deadlines
• Supervise the team making sure all targets are met

Key Skills:

• Previous experience at supervisory level in fresh food/agricultural
• Excellent communication skills
• People management skills
• Advanced food hygiene qualifications
• Organisational skills
