FINANCE ASSISTANT SCARBOROUGH
Finance Assistant
Location: Scarborough Area
Contract: Part time, Permanent
A business based near Scarborough is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful individual will receive a salary of £24,000 pro rata, Flexible part time hours Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant will include:
· Process invoices, match to delivery notes, price check to PO's/stock file, resolve discrepancies
· Supplier statement reconciliations
· Process invoices
· Issue customer statements
· Assist with credit control
· Setting up new customer accounts
· Process cash & credit card receipts and payments
· Other duties, as required
To be successful in this Finance Assistant role, you will have/be:
· AAT qualified or studying (desirable)
· Great communication, with a can-do attitude and excellent work ethic
· Be able to work towards delivering key deadlines, whilst establishing a high level of attention to detail
· A confident user of IT systems or accountancy software such Sage or Quickbooks.
